We do realize that you could easily drive your vehicle to an automatic wash and spend roughly $10. We know that this may not seem like a bad idea, but it is. Inevitably, when you leave, there are bound to be countless water spots all over your ride. Automatic car washes are designed for speed and convenience, not attention to every detail on your vehicle. You may trust that your car washing service is using appropriate soap in the right amount, but are they? Chances are, they are using a cheaper product to increase their profit margin. These chemicals are usually a strong acid that also strips off any protective coating applied to your car such as a wax or sealant. The brushes at an automatic wash are filled with so much dirt and grime, and that same dirt is being kicked up and dragged across your car’s finish.
